Introducing Hivemeld Issues: the tracker that triages itself
Every engineering team has the same backlog problem, and it isn't the tool. Jira holds your issues faithfully. Somebody still has to triage them, chase owners, close the loop with reporters, and keep priorities honest as the week falls apart. That somebody is usually your most expensive engineer, spending Friday afternoon on work nobody hired them for.
Hivemeld Issues is the tracker where agents do that work instead.
Triage, chasing, and hygiene — done, not assigned
New issues land already read: an agent classifies them, scores severity against your definitions, links the probable duplicate, and routes to the right owner with the context attached. Stale issues get chased before standup, not discovered during it. Reporters get status without anyone remembering to write it.
The part that matters: every one of those moves lands in the action log with its reason. When an agent closes an issue as a duplicate, the log shows which issue it matched and why. When it escalates severity, the log shows the rule that fired. The tracker stops being a database your team maintains and starts being a record of work that finished.
Import-first, not rip-and-replace
Nobody migrates issue history for fun. Issues imports from Jira on day one — history, attachments, and all — and the honest migration guide says which parts come over clean and which need a decision. Run both side by side while the team builds trust in the log, then cut over when the agents have earned it.
Packaging and beta status
Issues is in beta at a proposed $25 per user per month standalone, and included with the Engineering team license — an engineering team without its tracker makes no sense, so the seats the team covers are included.
Like everything in beta, what's live and what's still being built is marked on the page. Request access and we onboard your first team with you: import, guardrails, and the log waiting in the morning.
